The Skating Club of Oregon (SCORE) is a vibrant community of skaters and their families from the greater Portland area. Our club offers support and encouragement to skaters at all levels of competency and age – from beginning skaters taking group lessons in skate school to competitive skaters participating in USFSA sanctioned competitions.
SCORE offers various types of membership to fit the needs of individual skaters and their families. From the Introductory level at a reduced cost to the Primary level, which includes membership for an additional family member, to individualized memberships for college students, seniors, coaches and judges.
Membership includes benefits such as reimbursements for participation in USFSA competitions and successfully passed test sessions in Freestyle and Moves in the Field, discounted fees for ice shows and special ice time, as well as for education seminars throughout the year.
SCORE offers test reimbursement to successfully passed test sessions in Freestyle or Moves in the Field to all Primary (First) Skaters and Additional Skaters when the following criteria has been met:
- The skater is a good standing member of Skating Club of Oregon
- The test must be passed at Winterhawks Skating Center (SCORE's home rink)
- One successfully passed test per membership year
- Must meet required volunteer hours
Below memberships include:
- USFSA membership
- Includes membership for one skater AND one non-skating ADULT household member
- Eligible to vote if age 13 or older
- Able to attend all Skating Club of Oregon Events (small fee may apply to some events)
- Reimbursement of $110 Tax deductible volunteer service donation*
*10 hours of volunteer time, or $110 fundraising is REQUIRED for volunteer reimbursement

Forms & Documents
By signing up to be a member of SCORE, members will accept all terms and conditions outlined in the most current Skating Club of Oregon (SCORE) Membership Forms and Documents, including the Code of Conduct, Code of Ethics, Consent of Medical Treatment, Photo or Video Release, Waiver and Release of Liability forms and Volunteerism.
These forms you will sign off electronically by signing up online via the website. Copies of the individual documents you can find below.

Purchasing online does not automatically update with United States Figure Skating Association (USFSA). This take a maximum of five (5) business days to be renewed in USFSA. All membership forms must be complete before SCORE can renew or create USFSA membership.
You will receive an email directly from USFSA, once your membership has been accepted.
