2018 Spring Break Clinic


Guest Coach Robert Mauti and Technical Specialist Ann Doherty will be joining us at Winterhawks Skating Center to instruct all levels of skaters on spins and on-ice movements.

The annual Spring Break Clinic will be from Monday, March 26th - Thursday, March 29th, 2018 at the Winterhawks Skating Center. Off-Ice sessions will be held at the PDX SportsPlex.

$125 (4-day week) / $50 (daily)

This year includes a Spring Recital at the end of camp!

On-Ice activities will be held at Winterhawks Skating Centers: 9250 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy, Beaverton, OR 97005

Off-Ice activities will be at PDX SportsCenter (one block from the rink) at 8785 SW Beaverton-Hillsdale Hwy.



Coach Robert Mauti has 17 years of coaching experience and has coached Freestylers and Ice Dancers at Junior Nationals and Adult Nationals. He has choreographed programs for single skaters and pair teams that have competed at US Nationals for the past five years, including the current 2015 Novice Pairs Champions.  Mauti has two PSA Master Ratings in Choreography and Moves in the Field.  He also has a PSA Senior Rating in Group Instruction, Certified Freestyle, and Certified Ice Dance.  As a skater, Mauti achieved Senior Gold Medal in Freestyle, Moves in the Field, Compulsory Ice Dance, Free Dance, and Canadian Freestyle. He was also a member of Ice Theatre of New York (ITNY). Mauti has a Bachelor’s degree in Music from Geneva College.  Robert has lived and coached Nashville since 2007.


Be on time for class! Do not forget to give yourself time to dress and stretch!

Skaters should plan to be at the clinic ALL day even when their group is not in lesson. Skaters should bring a lunch, healthy snacks, and drinks (their own water bottle) to eat/drink throughout the day and during breaks. Water and sports drinks can be purchased at the rink.


Skaters should wear appropriate skating attire (no loose or baggy clothing). Pads (hip, butt, etc) ARE acceptable.


What is Freestyle Session? Is that included?
Freestyle Session times are just that - freestyle sessions. They are not included in the camp and can be purchased at Winterhawks Skate Center.
Where is the SportsPlex?
The PDX SportsCenter (formerly SoccerPlex) is located across the street from Jesuit High School about a block from Winterhawks Skates Center.

What will On-Ice Instruction be like?
On-Ice instruction will be split in two groups: intro and high groups. Groups are decided based on competition level and at the discretion of the coaches and the assistant coaching staff.
